Sing 7: Lucky (A Cappella)
Sing is an all-vocal compilation album founded in the spirit of unifying collegiate and professional a cappella groups. The series began in 2003 when Dave Sperandio, founder of the Alliance for A Cappella Initiatives (AACI), created it as one of the organization's primary initiatives. Once smaller in its scope, the Sing series has quickly developed into a yearly collection of some of the world's finest and most diverse vocal music. In addition to collegiate and professional groups from the United States, the albums now feature talent from high schools across the country and internationally acclaimed professional a cappella troupes.

In 2009 Ben Folds released a greatest hits record, of sorts, sung entirely in a cappella. The album, Ben Folds Presents: Unviersity A Cappella! features two tracks performed by Ben himself, but the bulk of the material was performed by various university a cappella groups.

This compilation album brings together some of the year's hottest a cappella groups and songs into one cost effective and accessible CD. Fifth Element's track "Together" from their fourth studio album "Blacks And Blues" appears as track number 24. Blacks And BluesRead review
Blacks And Blues is The Fifth Element's fourth studio album and despite short funding, the studio work that is included on the album is the most refined that the group had released to this point. Seven studio tracks and six live performances make up this CD's two sides. The recording and production were done by the Madison, WI based highly sought after a cappella producer, Nate Mendl. Blacks And Blues had it's opening track "Together" selected for inclusion on the complication "Voices Only 2006", be sure to check out that album in our store.

Driven by the album's opener of the same name, Welcome To The Show is an original work written by the group's then musical director and vocal percussionist, Steve Howe. Overall this release is a solid effort from a musically maturing group.

Plead The Fifth
Plead The Fifth is Fifth Element's first studio album. Recorded at Giant Gumball studios in Eau Claire, WI this marks the first time that the boys of 5e set out to lay down tracks from several semesters of rehearsals and live shows. This raw sounding record showcased the members natural abilities and served well as a yearbook recording. This album is currently out of print.
